• Amy Jenkins of Lake Villa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Judson University in Elgin with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a concentration in psychology. Amy was a four-year starter on the Judson's Women's Soccer Team and was named Defensive MVP for the 2007-08 year. She is a Golden Apple Scholar, and a 2004 graduate of Grayslake Community High School.
• Brianna L. Sloane of Hawthorne Woods, received a bachelor's degree in marketing during the undergraduate commencement at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn.
• Michael Hajduk of Mundelein, son of Stanislaw and Teresa Hajduk was recently honored by the Department of Economics at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Ind. Hajduk is a senior economics major. He was inducted into the national economics honor society Omicron Delta Epsilon.
• Theodore Kim, son of Kook Hwa and Ik Hwan Kim of Gurnee, has been named to the dean's list of Macalester College for academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2007-08 school year. A graduate of Warren Township High School, Kim was a sophomore at Macalester last spring.
