Show to benefit Elgin Boys & Girls Club

Duckapalooza

Local musicians augment the annual "duck pluck," which benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Elgin. Hear rocking blues by Nick Moss and the Flip Tops and Blue Truth (with Jimy Rogers of The Mauds), covers by The Lennys, Bagshot Row and Led Zeppelin specialists Kashmir, radio-friendly hard rock by Drop and more.

Maps & Atlases

Buzz is so heavy for rising Chicago quartet Maps & Atlases that the band needs two hometown shows to unleash its latest EP, "You and Me and the Mountain" (Sargent House). These gigs kick off M&A's U.S. tour with Oregon's Nurses, then it's off for a European run that includes British dates with like-minded rhythm rousers Foals.
