Illinois' Williams shares Big Ten honors

Illinois quarterback Juice Williams' 451 yards passing has earned him a share of this week's Big Ten offensive player of the week honors.

Williams splits the award with Indiana quarterback Kellen Lewis.

Williams threw five touchdown passes while trying to rally the Illini in their season-opener against 6th-ranked Missouri. Illinois lost the game, 52-42 after trailing 31-13 at halftime.

Lewis had 185 yards rushing and 144 yards passing, plus two touchdowns in Indiana's 31-13 win over Western Kentucky.

Illinois will try to get its first win when it returns home Saturday to face Eastern Illinois.
