• A motorist reported being slapped by another motorist Aug. 16 after a hit-and-run accident near Galena Road and Route 47 in Sugar Grove Township. The altercation took place on the side of the road before the motorist accused of slapping the other fled the scene, according to a police report.
• Several live rounds of ammunition were found Wednesday on Route 72 in Rutland Township. Police said it appears the ammunition was put there so vehicles would drive over it.
• Five windows valued at $1,500 total were reported smashed Aug. 17 at 6N539 Tuscola Ave., St. Charles Township.
St. Charles
• Jeri Lynn McCullough, 44, of 214 Walnut St. in St. Charles was arrested on Aug. 15 for retail theft after allegedly stealing a pair of Sonomo tan pants, two sterling silver rings, a pair of Urban black pants, a Unionbay red tube top, an Energie yellow tank top and a pair of Soundmaster headphones with a combined estimated value of about $164 from a Kohl's department store in St. Charles.
• Charles Victor Werner, 19, of 1512 Jobe Ave. in St. Charles was arrested on Aug. 20 for speeding and driving on a suspended license.
• Alexis Daniele Pfleeger, 18, of 1243 E. Wilson St. in Batavia was arrested on Aug. 18 for retail theft after allegedly stealing numerous cosmetic items with a combined value of about $99 from a Kohl's department store in St. Charles.
