Hampton Inn breaks ground in Deer Park

Gencon Building Corp. of Itasca broke ground on the new Hampton Inn and Suites Hotel in Deer Park.

The new four-story, 104-room hotel is adjacent to the Deer Park Center at Lake-Cook Road.

It's expected to open in the spring.

The owner is a development of Atira Hotels Inc., based in Chicago.

Architectural services for the project are being performed by A3 Design Inc., in Indianapolis, Ind.
