Wind power isn't hot air anymore

The front-page spread telling of wind-powered schools and government buildings serves as a message of hope and a display of our future.

These plans and discussions regarding where to put turbines or even solar panels shows that this future is closer than one may think.

After reading this article and milling over it, I ended up running into the solar-powered Greenpeace truck at the farmers' market in Arlington Heights last weekend.

It is so refreshing to see people ready for change and willing to keep pushing forward.
