LHS Cheerleaders car wash: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 30, ACE Hardware, 155 Peterson Road, Libertyville. The Libertyville High School Cheerleaders will hold a car wash. Minimum $5 donations accepted. Proceeds will be used to offset the cost of choreography, costumes and other expenses.

AAUW Bake and Book sale: 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 30, Deerfield Farmer's Market, at the Northwest corner of Deerfield Road and Robert York Avenue, Deerfield. Sponsored by the Deerfield Area Branch of the American Association of University Women. Proceeds go to scholarships to female seniors at three area high schools. LHS Cheerleaders corn roast: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 31, Sunset Foods, 1451 Peterson Road, Libertyville. The Libertyville High School Cheerleaders will hold a fund-raiser corn roast. Cost is $1 per ear. Proceeds will be used to offset the cost of choreography, costumes and other expenses.

Pancake Breakfast: 8-11:30 a.m. Sept. 6, Mundelein High School Cafeteria, 1350 W. Hawley St., Mundelein. Lady Mustangs basketball team pancake breakfast. $5 per person.
