No need for mail delivery on Saturday
The U.S. Postal Service could save millions of gallons of gasoline if Saturday mail delivery was discontinued in urban and rural United States.
I have polled many of my neighbors and they all agree that they do not need Saturday mail delivery. If they needed Saturday delivery they would be glad to pay extra for the service.
Big business is in the process of streamlining, so why not the U.S. Postal Service, which realizes a monetary loss every year.
The U. S. Postal Service could downsize and at the same time diminish gasoline usage.
Wouldn't that be wonderful.
