The sweet autumn return of school

Summer vacation affords an opportunity for regeneration.

Students as well as teachers are looking forward to the new school year with enthusiasm and a renewed hope for success.

Administrators and staff members have been hard at work in preparation for their arrival.

The custodial staff have scrubbed and painted. The waxed floors glisten like an ice pond. The freshness of the building is conducive to learning.

New beginnings encourage and energize the mind and the body. New clothes and new school supplies are a part of the process as are new goals, faith in ability and perseverance.

It is the responsibility of the administrators to ensure the safety of the students, faculty and staff.

Teachers along with the academic instruction have the added role of an extended parent. Students have the responsibility to apply themselves and to be the best they can be.

School life is exciting and challenging. It paves the way for a happy and successful life.

To all, I extend my sincere wishes for a happy, healthy, safe, fun and successful 2008-2009 school year.
