Taxes push sales out of Cook County

Hey, Todd Stroger, I hope I got your attention. I just bought a big screen LCD and a table to put it on.

Guess where I bought it? Not in Crook County. I bought it in DuPage County.

While I was there, I also gassed up. It was savings all the way. When I went on vacation up in Wisconsin, I looked up there for the LCD I wanted but they didn't have it. If they did, it would have been even more savings yet as the tax rate is even cheaper.

I've made it my goal not to shop in Crook County as buying in Crook County is loading the pockets of a bunch of thieves.

So go ahead, Stroger, and put more sales taxes on us. It will reinforce my will even more not to shop in Crook County.
