Kirk stands up to Iran, Ahmadinejad

I am writing to applaud Congressman Mark Kirk for leading the charge in Congress to "call a spade a spade" when it comes to the rantings of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Last year, he was the lead co-sponsor of the Rothman-Kirk resolution, calling on the United Nations Security Council to charge Amadinejad with violating the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide and United Nations Charter because of his calls for the destruction of the state of Israel.

Only one leader in the world stands up publicly and calls for the destruction of a member of the United Nations.

Only one man calls for the murder of millions of Jews in Israel.

History teaches us that dictators tell us what they will do before they do it.

Kirk is working hard to let the world know about Ahmadinejad's intentions.
