Police: Chicago man burned by former tenant
Police say the elderly landlord of an apartment building on Chicago's South Side has been hospitalized after being doused with gasoline and set on fire by a former tenant.
They say they're looking for the tenant, a 28-year-old man.
Family members told the Chicago Tribune that the 77-year-old landlord injured early Tuesday morning was Harlan Hayes.
A tenant says she called 911 when she saw Hayes walking down the sidewalk, naked and badly burned. He collapsed on the porch of the building next door.
Police say Hayes is in critical condition at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
