Abortion is wrong, no matter the label

In response to Amy Principi's letter (Fence Post, Aug. 17), I do agree with Amy that there is definitely a "load of poppy cock" but it is found in her own attempt to clarify her argument on abortion through the use of "accurate terminology."

My accurate terminology is that this is a baby, not a "thing," but a living whole human being with body and soul, going through the full cycle of life, from conception to death.

The child is not able to describe or cry out against the atrocity committed by his or her own mother.

He or she has to rely on those of us who are not afraid to speak up in any way we can. Yes, even with pictures.

No matter what label we try to assign it to ease our own guilt, abortion is wrong. Abortion is the horrific murder of a helpless baby.
