Purdue RB Taylor injures knee in practice
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue running back Jaycen Taylor is scheduled for an MRI to determine the extent of damage to his injured right knee.
Taylor, who missed four games last season with a broken arm, injured his knee during practice on Sunday. He was scheduled to have the MRI on Tuesday
Because of the injury, coach Joe Tiller says redshirt freshman Justin Siller has been switched from quarterback to running back in Taylor's place on the roster.
Taylor, a senior from Hawthorne, Calif., rushed 107 times for 560 yards and four touchdowns last season, sharing time at running back with Kory Sheets.
