Two men stable after fight outside Mundelein bar

Two Lake County men were hospitalized in stable condition Saturday after they were stabbed during a fight outside a Mundelein bar.

Police charged Alex Revelo, 21, 64 N. Prairie Ave., Mundelein, with two counts each of aggravated battery and aggravated battery with a weapon in connection with the fight. He will appear in Lake County bond court Sunday morning.

Police said the fight occurred just before 3 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Lake Street. Police said they recovered a pocket knife, but did not release a motive for the altercation.

Doctors at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville treated a 26-year-old Mundelein man and a 27-year-old man from Grayslake for nonlife-threatening injuries, a hospital spokeswoman said.
