Why did Kirk vote against pay equity?

People like to think that Mark Kirk is a moderate but time and time again, his voting record proves otherwise.

Kirk recently was among the 178 Republicans to stand by the Bush administration and vote against the Paycheck Fairness Act which supports women's right to equal pay.

I personally am disgusted that my congressman, who is supposed to represent the interests of this district, doesn't believe women should be paid the same as men.

Kirk clearly does not represent the interests of half this district if he does not support a woman's right to equal pay. What could he possibly be thinking?

I'm sick of Kirk failing to effect any positive change in Washington. He does not successfully represent the 10th District and he is not a moderate.

Dan Seals, on the other hand, will bring change we need to Washington. Seals believes women should be paid the same as men for equal work.
