Coroner: Tasered man died from cocaine
ROCKFORD _ Winnebago County authorities say a 29-year-old man who died in June after being shot with a Taser passed away from the effects of cocaine.
Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia (fih-DOO'-shuh) said Friday that Ernest Graves also had marijuana and alcohol in his system.
Police say Graves was hit with a stun gun three times during his arrest after a domestic disturbance.
The coroner's office says it's still waiting for the toxicology results from another Rockford man who was shot at with a Taser gun, sprayed with pepper spray and later died in police custody.
Thirty-one-year-old Kiethedric Anteon Hines died last Sunday.
Police say a Taser gun was deployed, but they haven't determined if Hines was struck and an electric shock was delivered
