Too bad about Alemars Restaurant
The other day we had a bite to eat at Alemars Restaurant on Dundee Road and the owner told us the restaurant is going out of business on Wednesday. Because of the economy they cannot make ends meet.
We feel badly about this because they certainly contributed a lot to the community and will be missed. The restaurant was clean, the food was always good and the staff was pleasant.
The landscaping was magnificent. There were many summers when we walked around and looked at the flowers close up. The owner told us she did it herself with mushroom compost. I give them a lot of credit and am sorry it didn't work out for them.
