At least six injured in Chicago fire

The Chicago Police Department's bomb and arson unit is investigating the fire that injured at least six people in the Pilsen neighborhood.

The three-alarm fire swept through three buildings Monday morning. Six people, including a firefighter, were sent to area hospitals and are in fair to stable condition. About 30 residents were evacuated from their apartments.

Fire Department spokesman Richard Rosado wouldn't say whether arson is suspected, but police are looking into how the fire started.

Rosado says the fire is now out but could rekindle because of hot embers in the wreckage. He says the small fires that may result are normal and won't be dangerous.

The fire brought down the roof of a three-story building.
