Bulls release 2008-09 schedule

The Chicago Bulls will tip off their 43rd season on Oct. 28, when they host the Milwaukee Bucks and coach Scott Skiles in their season opener at 7:30 p.m. at the United Center.

Three days later, the Blls will take to the road for the first time when they travel to Boston and face the NBA Champion Celtics at 7 p.m.

For just the second time in team history and the first since 1997-98, the 2008-09 campaign opens with Chicago playing seven of its first 10 games at home. The Bulls will then head west for a six-game road trip from Nov. 18-26, followed by a road game at Philadelphia on Nov. 30.

On the year, the Bulls will play 22 back-to-back sets, two more than last year, and just one stretch of four games in five nights.

Tickets for every Chicago Bulls home game will go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 3 at the United Center Box Office, Ticketmaster locations, online at www.bulls.com or by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX. For season tickets, 11-Game Plans or groups, call 312-455-4000.
