Gun turn-in idea just another sham

Once again Mayor Daley authorizes a gun turn in.

Another sham to pander to the people of Chicago who think any handguns used to commit crimes will be turned over to the police.

The recent gun turn ins have produced mostly guns that are unworkable.

Does anyone think criminals or gang-banging thugs will turn in their weapons for a $100 gift card?

How about turning your BB gun for a few bucks. Or a handgun replica for a dollar or two?

I have a squirt gun, and I think I can find an old Supersoaker in my basement. How much for those, Mr. Mayor?
