Support the troops and be green too

Regarding Glenn Taras' comments (Fence Post, July 21) about the irony of "Support our troops" stickers on gas-guzzler vehicles:

This is the perfect opportunity for an updated version.

Marketers and car dealerships: let's get a green "Support our troops" ribbon out there.

Pass it out with the sale of every energy-efficient vehicle.
