Daily Herald favors Obama

If there was any doubt as to the political leanings of the Daily Herald, the front page says it all. The headline is "Two Campaign Approaches" and in one picture Obama is in Berlin speaking to 200,000 Berliners. The other, below, shows McCain, in a smaller picture with only three people near him.

For many average Americans - the ones that laugh their heads off at Jay Leno's anti-Bush jokes - those two pictures are enough to make up their minds and vote Obama. They don't need any more research on a candidate that has nothing to show but being black and promising "change."

They don't even care to find out what the changes are that this opportunist is advocating. The thing is to boot out Bush, who has kept us free of terrorist attacks in the U.S. and abroad. They are inconvenienced by our government's security measures, while being subjected day and night to the malevolent rhetoric of the liberal Democrats hungry for power.

Europe is a continent that because of the proximity of so many people with different ethnic backgrounds is always divided politically, socially and economically, but they have had a common cause: Beat the United States in anything they possibly can think of.

They become Socialists, more anti-war than citizens in this country, pro-Muslim terrorists just to tickle Uncle Sam, champions of human rights, but when they need Uncle Sam with his young warriors, they have no qualms about begging for help.

The Europeans don't know the causes of their own discontent with the U.S. only that there are many that make them unhappy with us. Obama has trashed our country, blaming the U.S. for every single evil outside our frontiers, and when he leaves, they'll go back to throwing rocks at the American embassies wearing their American Nikes, American universities' T-shirts, playing our music in their iPhones.

And their governments will continue whining against our country but be on the lookout for our latest scientific discoveries to copy to make their lives easier.

For them, Obama is a tool to be used to harm our country further to satisfy their anti-American feelings and envy. So having 200,000 people that don't vote here as an audience in Berlin tells me that Obama has been used, and looked upon as a curiosity by those that hate our country but interpreted here as a triumph of the "changes" that he proposes but that nobody here knows - including this newspaper.
