Man struck by car, killed hours after DUI arrest
A 33-year-old Montgomery man was killed crossing busy Route 38 late Saturday, hours after he was arrested and charged with DUI, Campton Hills police said Sunday.
Marcel Lizak, of the 3000 block of Iron Leige Lane, was attempting to cross Route 38 near LaFox Road when he was struck by a vehicle at about 11:18 p.m. Saturday. Lizak was airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, where he was pronounced dead.
