The race is about issues, not celebrity
Bad form, Mr. McCain.
Recent ads (not to be aired in this area) compare Obama with Paris Hilton and Britney Spears.
The McCain campaign manager Rick Davis said this was an "apples to apples" comparison.
In other words, comparing this professor, lawyer and Senator to celebrities who take drugs, dance naked or are mentally unstable was completely fair and justified.
C'mon, McCainers. Where is your insight? What about the issues?
If you want to defeat Obama, take him on the issues. Don't whine that he's getting "celebrity attention."
We already know that just being a celebrity doesn't fit one for president. There's no need to go to resort to such smear tactics.
Some of us are pulled toward Obama, but still hesitate at his inexperience and extreme liberalism.
But when we look at the alternative - McCain shrieking that Obama is just like Paris and Britney - we have to wonder how fit McCain is for the dignity and the wisdom that the highest office demands.
