Granato to be named Wolves coach

Don Granato will be named the Chicago Wolves head coach today, according to published reports.

A Downers Grove native, Granato, 40, has spent 12 seasons coaching minor-league hockey, one season as an NHL assistant and the past two years as a scout for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He is the brother of Colorado Avalanche head coach Tony Granato and sister of Cammi Granato, who was captain of the gold-medal winning 1998 U.S. Olympic women's hockey team.
