Cook Co. cops nab 7 in reverse prostitution sting
A reverse prostitution sting conducted earlier this month by the Cook County sheriff's department in Leyden Township netted seven arrests, the department announced late Monday.
Authorities said the men were arrested after offering money in exchange for sex acts to a female undercover sheriff's police officer.
The sting took place in the 2000 and 2200 blocks of North Mannheim Road the evening of July 17, and the men offered $20 to $30, police said.
The sheriff's department said those charged with solicitation of a sex act were: Michael Bradford, 48, of 5326 S. Blackstone, Chicago; Humberto Gonzalez, 39, of 1404 N. 36th Ave., Melrose Park; Jose Guerra, 54, of 2211 Lee St., Des Plaines; Antonio Luciano, 43, of 112 Mendel Lane, Prospect Heights; Michael McParland, 43, of 641 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge; Cosmin Popa, 29, of 2936 W. Palmer, Chicago; and Hilario Rodriguez, 35, of 1428 43rd Ct., Stone Park.
The men are due in court Aug. 26.
