'Baghead' worth bagging
Bag this "Baghead"
The Duplass brothers, those indie filmmaking guys who gave us the ultra-low-budget "The Puffy Chair," return with a would-be comic horror tale about frustrated actors who decide to write their own screenplay in an isolated country house. They make up a killer with a bag over his head, and before they get to the second act, the real Baghead strikes! With its out-of-frame shots, wild zooms and out-of-focus autofocus, this film has about as much style as an entry on "America's Funniest Home Videos." Rated R for language, nudity and sexual situations. 81 minutes.
Opens today at the Pipers Alley in Chicago and Evanston CineArts 6
