Schaumburg Flyers set single-game attendance record
Alexian Field, home of the Schaumburg Flyers baseball team, boasted a record-breaking attendance of 8,636 for Wednesday's day game versus the Joliet JackHammers. The previous record of 8,459 was set on July 14, 2007.
"We're always thrilled to host the best fans in baseball here at Alexian Field," Flyers GM Ben Burke said. "Our number one priority is to make sure everyone who comes to a Flyers game has a great time, and knowing you helped nearly 9,000 people enjoy their day puts a smile on your face, too."
