Batavia

• Nicholas D. Seidel, 26, of Oak Terrace Court, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. Wednesday and charged with impersonating an officer and harassment by telephone, according to police.

• Three juveniles slashed tires and threw an egg at a resident's vehicle around 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Batavia Apartments, 1179 E. Wilson St. They were released to their parents, according to police.

• A bicycle was reported missing at 5 p.m. Wednesday after it was locked to the bike rack at the Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave. Loss was estimated at less than $300.

• Jason T. Earls, 32, of the 500 block of south VanBuren, was arrested at 11:13 p.m. Wednesday outside of Rendezvu, 1 E. Wilson St., and charged with two complaints of battery. He was released after posting bond of $100. He has a court date of Aug. 12.

Kane County

• Jamie L. Peterson, 20, of 124 French Road 1A, Burlington, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday and charged with underage drinking after a two-vehicle crash on the 200 block of Valley Way, Burlington Township, police said. According to an arrest report, Peterson lost control of a vehicle and crashed into a tree, breaking it in half, before hitting an electrical box. Property damage was estimated at $4,400. Peterson was treated at the scene, then taken to a hospital for evaluation, police said.

Geneva

• A purse was taken between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Corner Bakery, 1614 Commons Drive. Loss was estimated at $105.

St. Charles

• Benjamin Perez, 23, of 204 N. 15th St., Unit B, was arrested Tuesday and charged with disobeying a stop sign and driving without a valid driver's license.

• Teresita Perez Lopez, 25, of 101 S. 17th St., Unit C, was arrested Wednesday and charged with driving a vehicle with a suspended registration and not having a valid driver's license.

• Rafeal Bedolla-Zamudio, 21, of 1101 Hunter St., Elgin, was arrested Wednesday and charged with improper lane usage and driving without a valid driver's license.

• Jillin Leigh McGowan, 17, of 3031 Majestic Oaks Lane, was arrested Wednesday and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
