Truck becomes stuck beneath CTA viaduct

Authorities have removed an 18-wheeler truck that became lodged beneath a Chicago Transit Authority viaduct in the city's downtown.

Chicago police say no one was injured in the accident that happened about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday near the downtown theater district.

CTA spokeswoman Wanda Taylor says the truck did not affect rail service but that three northbound buses were temporarily rerouted.
