Businessman charged with assaulting FBI agent

FRANKLIN PARK -- The owner of a suburban Chicago construction company faces charges that he assaulted an FBI agent.

In court records, authorities say John Esposito allegedly wrestled with the agent who was serving a search warrant at National Concrete Pipe in Franklin Park last week.

Special Agent Brian Etchell and another agent were at the business as part of an investigation into whether Esposito's company was involved with another company that was fraudulently acting as a minority business.

Authorities say Etchell was asking Esposito questions when Esposito rushed him and wrestled with him on the ground.
