"Summer Experience North" will focus on ways teachers can use technology in the classroom. Participants will attend two three-hour, hands-on sessions each day at Stevenson, which is on Route 22 in Lincolnshire. The cost is $100. Living with animals

A new Web site designed to help residents live and deal with wildlife around them is now online. "Living with Wildlife," livingwithwildlife.extension.uiuc.edu, is a joint venture between the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the University of Illinois Extension. It's designed to increase the awareness of native wildlife, assist with conflicts and making people aware of applicable conservation laws. The Web site should help answer nearly any questions someone has about wildlife in their area and steps to take in case of a problem. Information includes seasonal behaviors of animals, a directory of wildlife, and dealing with sick, injured or orphaned animals.
