Legislative priorities need adjustment

Several weeks ago I read with great interest the article in the Herald about the new laws our illustrious legislators passed regarding wine ... who we can now buy it from, and the quantities permitted. Well, it is about time they put their time to good use and solved that very big problem. It gave me a very warm feeling to know that they were alert to this very serious problem and have taken the bull by the horns and taken action. I feel sure they are patting themselves on the back and feeling it is a job well done.

Now, why don't they put their time to really good use and do something about a really serious problem: gun control. How many people, children, babies have to die before they do something about that? Do they not care? Do they not read the papers and realize that gun control, and not wine, should be the first thing on their agenda?

How very sad that they can't get their priorities in order.
