"The Bank Job"

This well-written crime thriller takes us through various stages of a heist. Terry Leather (Jason Statham) is recruited by Martine Love (Saffron Burrows) to break into the vault of a bank to get to a safety deposit box. It seems simple enough, but there are many subplots involved, including political and police corruption, murder and extortion.

"Penelope"

Penelope (Christina Ricci) is given a curse in which she gets the ears and snout of a pig - a disfigurement that will only be lifted when she finds true love. Men run away when they see her face, so she sits behind a one-way mirror. She meets Max (James McAvoy) and he's different. He has other motives, and within time, she decides to run away to the real world. She finds a friend in Annie (Reese Witherspoon) who doesn't mind the scarf around Penelope's neck, hiding her face. It is a fairy tale with a beautiful message.

"Never Forever"

Sophie (Vera Farmiga) lives in New York with her husband Andrew (David McInnis), a Korean businessman. They have been trying to start a family without success. When his father dies, Andrew goes into a depression, because he was not able to provide his father with a grandchild. Sophie decides to get pregnant with a Korean immigrant and say that it is Andrew's, and have her life and marriage back.

"Tony n' Tina's Wedding: The Movie"

If you have seen the Chicago production, which has been here for 15 years, then you can relate to the film. Tony (Joey McIntyre) and Tina (Mila Kunis) come from two strong Italian families that have many issues. Conflicts all come to a head on their wedding day - first at the church and then at the reception. The play uses the audience as members of the wedding party, while the film uses a videographer and his hand-held camera to put you in the middle of the action.
