Thanks for support of MDA campers

The Chicagoland office of the Muscular Dystrophy Association extends unending gratitude to all those who donated their time, energy and resources toward MDA's 2008 summer camp in Hudson. Without a doubt, you made camp a tremendous success. Over 200 Chicago area and central Illinois children with neuromuscular diseases were able to spend a week building long lasting friendships and memories. Campers participated in many activities. This would not have been possible without all of your help and support in the fight against more than 40 muscle diseases.

We would also like to thank the volunteers who dedicated a week of their lives to provide one-on-one support for a child. Your friendship changes campers' lives and your hard work and compassion is greatly appreciated. The theme for summer camp this year was "Project Heroes," and it is the people who made camp possible that are the heroes in the eyes of the campers and MDA.

Thanks again.
