Hot dog! That was quite a memory!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane with your July 11 front-page story "Hot Dog."

That hot dog stand dates back to the early- to mid- 1960s (perhaps even older) although I have no idea if the dogs sold back then were Vienna.

It was called "Bea's" back then and I went to school with the owners' daughter.

Poor girl went to high school reeking of the smell of hot dogs because her parents lived above the shop!

Thanks for reviving that long-ago memory. I can still smell her!
