Double standard forgives Jackson

While Jesse Jackson has managed to trip over his own tongue again, I have yet to hear exactly what he said about Sen. Obama.

While I imagine "to geld" is as close as one can come to a description in polite company, does anyone believe for a second if a white conservative had said the same thing we would not know verbatim?

The story would dominate mainstream media and shrill calls for excoriation would proclaim the unforgivable sin and demand retribution.

Is anyone else sick and tired of this double-standard?
