Crackdown on fireworks
If you were caught using illegal fireworks in Huntley, not only will you pay for it - but all your neighbors will know about it. Huntley police said Monday they will post the names and addresses of violators on the village Web site to aid the department's aggressive enforcement of fireworks laws. Police say they issued 30 citations and seized a large number of illegal fireworks during the Fourth of July weekend. First-time violators got a $50 fine, while repeat offenders received a $100 fine.
