Here's a simple tip how to save on gas

Ever since the price of gas has gone over the top, once every two or three months, the newspapers or the other media give us a list how to save on gas.

Make sure the tires are properly inflated, no jackrabbit starts from the red light, avoid unnecessary braking or acceleration, blah, blah, blah.

Here's how we can all save money on gas:

First, drill for oil!

Drill for the abundance we have off our coasts and in ANWR, the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge.

We will still save the snail darter and no animals will be harmed. Except for their egos, the tree huggers won't be harmed either.

Second, bounce out of office all those we've elected who're getting rich from oil company lobbyists.

Finally, if it can be done, license individuals, entrepreneurs if you will, to drill for oil. That's how John D. Rockefeller started.

At any rate, we need to take advantage of our own resources and get ourselves out from under the Arab cartel's thumb. Or foot.
