Mayweather Jr. tosses out cash at Lil Jon show

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Recently retired boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has made it rain cash in Grand Rapids.

The Grand Rapids Press reports Mayweather got on stage early Sunday during a Lil Jon show to accept a goblet from the rapper and tossed about $30,000 in $100 bills into the audience. Lil Jon told the crowd "It's official."

The show at The Intersection was part of a three-day retirement celebration for Mayweather, who is from Grand Rapids.

Boxing's pound-for-pound king abruptly retired last month at the peak of his athletic skill and earning power.
