Wesley Clark insult a political charade
Sen. Obama's pinch hitter, retired General Wesley Clark, rung the bell when he belittled Sen. John McCain's service in Vietnam.
Sen. Obama, in his speech later, vehemently denied Clark's comments. He responded with praise for Sen. McCain.
This is the old game that politicians play.
Dirty tricks. Makes Obama look good. Clark is the bad guy. Sen. McCain has still been slighted. The insult is still there. Sen. McCain has been disparaged.
The old saw applies: "you can't unring a bell." If only the voters are able to see through this charade.
