DeKalb garden walk set for July 12
The University of Illinois Extension DeKalb County Master Gardeners present an event that gardeners across the county and beyond look forward to with enthusiasm each year, the 18th annual DeKalb County Garden Walk and Plant Sale. Eight private gardens will be open to the public for viewing that feature a variety of styles and plantings.
The plant sale and garden walk will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 12, rain or shine. The Farm Bureau building, 1350 W. Prairie Drive in Sycamore, will be the site of the plant sale. It also will feature a Master Gardener help desk and other resource information on the program.
Prior to the event, tickets are available at the following locations:

Kar-Free Florists, 1126 E. State St., Sycamore.
Ozzie's Greenhouse, 13441 Hinckley Road, Hinckley.
Tickets are available online at web.extension.uiuc.edu/dekalb/gardenwalk and on the day of the event at the plant sale and each of the gardens. Cost is $10 in advance or $12 at the door.
