Salute Inc. couldn't do it without you

Five years of running with it and its all because of YOU!

Salute Inc. held its fifth annual Walk/Run on May 24th and it was the best yet, with more than 900 runners and raising more than $30,000.

Our friends and supporters led the way this year as we moved to hosting the walk/run around the South Middle School area and running through our great downtown as well.

We salute the following for helping make this event a great success: Arlington Park; Peggy Kinnane's; Runners High n Tri; Knights of Columbus (Holy Rosary Council #4483, Seton Assembly and Sword & Baldric); Royal Die & Stamping Co.; Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn; Mayor Mulder; Harry's; FP Financial Services; Drost; Kivlahan; McMahon & O'Connor; Arlington Heights Park District; Photo's; Panera; Quaker and many others -- and, of course, kudos to our police and firefighter-paramedics for making it safe and secure and to our public works folks for all their assistance!

Overall, Salute Inc. is very blessed and honored to have many friends and supporters who step up to the plate to support our service members, veterans and their families.

The mark of any great society, past or present, lies with how it honors and supports those that protect and defend their country and its freedoms. You have proven once again that there are Americans who do care and are very thankful for the service and sacrifice of all our heroes!
