Cancer society offers 'feel better' program
The Northwest Suburban office of the American Cancer Society will offer its new "Look Good-Feel Better" program from 10 a.m. to noon July 14 at the Society's office, 1144 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Additional classes are being offered the second Monday of every month. Female cancer patients will learn how to use makeup and skin care techniques to overcome the appearance-related effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Items stolen from parked car
Someone entered a car parked in the 300 block of East Golf Road in Arlington Heights at 8:30 p.m. June 25. The offender removed a woman's Coach purse and its contents. The suspect is a male white with blond hair. He was driving a silver four-door sedan in beater condition with rust. The car had an unknown temporary registration plate.
