Carpentersville

• Police arrested a man Friday evening who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. Brandon West, 21, of 483 Maple St., Carpentersville, was charged with two counts of felony forgery, according to a report.

West is currently on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections for a charge of aggravated fleeing and eluding, police said. He was unable to post a $7,000 bond and was taken to the Kane County jail.

His next court date is on July 2 at the Kane County Judicial Center for the forgery charges.

• A prisoner at the Kane County jail was brought to court Saturday on a Carpentersville warrant for possession of marijuana. Antwan Deon Youngblood, 30, of 1303 York Drive, Carpentersville, is being held on a charge of attempted murder, according to jail personnel.

Youngblood is now scheduled to appear at the Kane County Judicial Center on Aug. 14 on both charges and has a bond of $100,500.ˆ ˆ 

• Police responded to a traffic accident Friday evening and said they found a small amount of cocaine on one of the drivers. Domingo Perez-Landeros, 21, of 1845 Cherokee Road, Carpentersville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of alcohol, according to a police report. He also was cited for driving with a suspended license, having no insurance and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said.

Perez-Landeros remains in the Kane County jail with a $1,500 bond and a court date at the Kane County Judicial Center on July 7.

Elgin

• A man caught burglarizing a residence at 277 Norman Nelson Court in Elgin was arrested at 2 p.m. Friday, police said. Darryl E. Williams, 21, ofˆ  7359 S. Carpenter, Chicago, was charged with felony residential burglary, according to a police report. Williams was unable to post a $4,000 bond on the charge and was taken to the Kane County jail. His next court date is scheduled for July 10 at the Kane County Judicial Center.

West Dundee

• A man accused of spraying his home with graffiti after he was informed his house and property were being foreclosed was arrested by police Friday. Andrew R. Grzybowski, 40, of 303 S. First St., West Dundee, was charged with aggravated battery and disorderly conduct, police said. Grzybowski has another court date in Carpentersville for violation of a West Dundee village ordinance. He was unable to post a $2,500 bond and was taken to the Kane County jail.

His next court date on the criminal charges is scheduled for July 10 at the Kane County Judicial Center.ˆ
