Wow, third inning and Ryan Dempster is already out of there. Nick Swisher's grand slam chased him after 2 and a third. Sox up 8-zip.

Things looked bleak from the beginning when the Cubs fielded an outfield of Eric Patterson in left, Jim Edmonds in center and Daryle Ward in right. Patterson already has made an error. No wonder Lou was in a foul mood before the game. He looked like he wanted to talk to no one. Maybe he saw it coming.

With Fukudome's calf still bothering him and Reed Johnson on the DL, the outfield picture isn't going to get prettier any time soon.
