Seals confused on gas prices
By now everyone has heard of Dan Seals' disastrous gas stunt that ended up snarling traffic in Lincolnshire for hours and netted the Seals campaign a $2,200 fine. While I certainly wonder why a man who wants to be elected Congressman would be so foolish, what I'm really curious about is the point he was hoping to make. He said in interviews that it was to highlight the rise of gas prices since Mark Kirk has been in office. But the sharpest increase in gas prices has been during the last year and, in case Dan wasn't paying attention, the Democrats have been in control of Congress.
So by Dan's logic aren't the Democrats responsible for the spike in gas prices? And if they are, why should we send him to Congress?
