1 hurt in 6-car crash in Arlington Heights

Six cars collided in a chain reaction this morning on eastbound Rand Road at Arlington Heights Road, police said.

About 7:45 a.m., a car traveling eastbound, slammed into the back of another that was waiting for a red light, which caused the chain reaction with the cars ahead, police said.

One person was taken to the hospital, police said.
