These DVD'S were released this week:
"Definitely, Maybe"
Will Hayes (Ryan Reynolds) is getting a divorce. His young daughter Maya (Abigail Breslin) wants to know about Will's romance with her mother. He begins to tell her about three very different women and the roles they played in his life. The stories are told in chronological order, and they play out as a romantic mystery. Maya learns that love is complicated, and that her father will get another chance at it.
"In Bruges"
Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson) are hitmen sent to the Belgium town of Bruges by their ruthless boss Harry (Ralph Fiennes) after screwing up their last assignment. They are told to wait for their orders, so Ken takes in the sights, while Ray is impatient and full of guilt. There is funny give and take between the two, but the dark comedy takes a twist when Harry arrives in town. It plays out like a Tarantino film with insensitive dialogue mixed in with violence.
"The Spiderwick Chronicles"
Helen Grace (Mary-Louise Parker) leaves her husband and takes her three children to the old, decrepit SpiderwickEstate that she inherited from her aunt. A long time ago, Arthur Spiderwick wrote a field guide to the unseen world, and unleashed terrible forces.
Young Jared Grace (Fredie Highmore) finds the book and a sewing stone and discovers goblins, spirits and others that are up to do harm in order to get the book. It's a family adventure with terrific special effects.
"Bonneville"
When Arvilla's (Jessica Lange) husband dies, his daughter demands his ashes be placed next to her mother's grave. When she finally agrees, Arvilla gets her friends Margene (Kathy Bates) and Carol (Joan Allen) to go across the country with her in a 1966 Bonneville convertible. They see the sites and meet some unique people on their journey, while finding out about each other.
